Individual Therapy
What Therapy Looks like
Individual therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes long and offered in-person or via telehealth (in California, South Dakota, and Wyoming). My approach tends to be goal-oriented and collaborative — we work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and build practical ways forward. Brief focused work can be as short as a few sessions, while more complex concerns typically follow a longer course shaped by your needs and goals.

Areas I Work With
Trauma and PTSD
Trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, others, and the world — often in ways we don’t fully realize. Together we work toward understanding and processing those experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Depression
Depression often goes deeper than low mood — it can affect how you see yourself and your future. Therapy helps explore what lies beneath and builds a path toward a more meaningful life.
Anxiety
Whether it shows up as constant worry, panic, or a persistent sense of dread, anxiety can make it hard to feel present and at ease. We work to understand what’s driving it and build practical ways to find steadiness.
Grief
Grief doesn’t follow a timeline and doesn’t always look the way we expect. I offer a space to process loss — of a person, a relationship, an identity, or a chapter of life — at whatever pace you need.
Difficult Life Transitions
Major changes — career shifts, relationship endings, moves, becoming a parent — can shake our sense of who we are. Therapy helps you navigate those moments with more clarity, intention, and self-compassion.
For Therapists and Trainees
IFS Consultation
I offer individual IFS consultation for therapists and trainees who are integrating Internal Family Systems into their clinical work. Consultation provides a space to deepen your understanding of the model, explore clinical challenges, and develop greater confidence in your practice.

My Approach
How I Work
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A structured approach that explores how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another while building more balanced and effective ways of coping.
Mindfulness-Based Therapies (e.g. ACT, DBT, MBSR)
Practices that help you slow down, relate to your inner experiences with greater awareness and less judgment, and develop a more grounded relationship with yourself.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
An approach that helps you understand the different parts of yourself — including protective patterns, inner criticism, and emotional wounds — with greater compassion and clarity.
